The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a great option for those looking for a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It offers a great mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.
During testing it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard floors. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to help you map your home.
1. IRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features that include an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. It can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the click of the button. You can select an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger particles like rice and cereal. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.
This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do, and it can even remove pet hair with ease. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better with the next models.
The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used however we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with a superior filtration system that blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think this is a nice claim but not enough to justify a higher price.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the structure of your home, and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. It can then clean your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and establish virtual boundary markers, so it is aware of areas that need extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are just as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.
The only downside is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to allow to provide more thorough cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay if want one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.
In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the high-powered ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and then move away whenever it comes across one.
The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and automatically transfers garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something needs attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.
You can also design and merge rooms to modify how the Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's clutter that must be cleaned out frequently, like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet tall and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.
This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. And it has a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when required.
Lastly it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to control it even when you're not at home. It also comes with more mopping options and a smart routing feature that allows you to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead of simply following a predetermined route.
The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its mop pads that rotate clean tough stains and its motor generates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that comes with a variety of features that you don't often see on robots in this price. It can create detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features, but they also place the L10s in the premium category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, you'll find a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel lets users to select cleaning options, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop efficiently, without getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hard-floor test and getting rid of all but get more info the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well and remove 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor or quaker oats on the carpet.
